What is a Hunter Douglas® Regional Repair Center?

Hunter Douglas has changed the way they handle repairs of most products. Instead of hundreds of products coming into Hunter Douglas®’ Corporate Repair facility, they have trained and allowed qualified companies that meet their standards to become regional repair centers.

 

What does this mean for me?

Quicker repair service with a typical three-day turn around time for most repairs.

Some items still have to be sent back to Hunter Douglas® for repair. Some products require special components that are not stocked on a regular basis, but 90% of Hunter Douglas® repairs, in the Cincinnati Area, are now handled locally in about three days. We stock a vast assortment of the parts necessary to make these repairs at our Norwood facility.

 

What if I did not purchase a blind from Blinds Plus and More?

As long as the window treatment is clearly a Hunter Douglas® product, we will repair it under Hunter Douglas®’ Standard Warranty procedure.

 

What about Service?

If Blinds Plus and More sold you the product, you have a two year service agreement free of charge, for in home service. This is related to all warranty issues. If your dog ate the blind or your cat clawed its way up your Silhouette, this is not a warranty issue. After your two-year period, you may bring your window treatment to either of our locations and we will provide the warranty repair free of charge. Please remember, the manufacturer offers your warranty and different manufacturers have different warranties. We follow the manufacturer’s warranty procedures based on the product that you purchased. If you did not purchase from Blinds Plus and More, there is no service agreement.
